Job Description:
• Inspect, repair, overhaul, and/or test mechanical, electrical, actuation, pneumatics and oxygen parts and/or
components.
• Conduct preliminary visual inspection for damage to components and determine if functional tests are required
• Disassemble components
• Remove coatings and clean individual parts in preparation for inspection of damage, corrosion, and general condition
• Check and verify part and serial numbers to determine part configuration
• Assist with conducting preliminary functional testing to assess part capability as required
• Measure required parts for conformity to applicable Component Maintenance Manual
• Record inspection and determine component pass or rejection
• Order necessary parts and/or components
• Replace, repair and/or overhaul aircraft parts of basic to moderate complexity i.e., brakes, wheels and actuation
• Price to determine whether repair or overhaul of component is cost-effective and submit parts and labor estimates to
sales
• Assist with completing engineering and quality assurance forms as required
• May perform tasks to create and/or repair equipment, tools and component parts
Job Requirements:
• A&P license preferred
• 5 + years’ experience or equivalent with inspecting, repairing, overhauling and testing components
• Ability to read and interpret component maintenance manuals
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
