Job Description:
As Receiving Inspector you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting all incoming deliveries of manufactured parts to ensure quality and order accuracy in accordance with established procedures. Collaborates with the Material Review Board to identify issues and follow up with corrective actions as needed.
- Inspect incoming manufactured parts to determine conformance with specifications and released drawings with a high level of accuracy.
- Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments and functional gauges to perform thorough, critical dimensional measurements.
- Interpret and read drawings and other types of specifications.
- Validate the certificate of conformance, process tags, rework or non-conforming tags or other associated documentation.
- Actively participate on the Material Review Board for non-conforming parts disposition.
- Record and maintain inspection records per Quality Management System requirements.
- Assist Shipping/Receiving during high volume periods.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Minimum two years receiving inspection experience.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical hand tools to include measurement instruments.
- Strong ability and experience to read and understand a wide range of drawings, blueprints and standards.
- High attention to detail.
